Hello, I’m Redris Bell, a multi-medium artist whose creative journey began in childhood. Art was my first language — a world of imagination that shaped who I am today.
When I relocated to Atlanta in 1999, life took me down a new artistic path into music and film, where I wore many hats as a singer, songwriter, and producer. The city’s vibrant energy fueled my creativity in ways I never expected.
Two decades later, the stillness of the pandemic brought me full circle — back to my first love: art. During that time, I rediscovered the soothing rhythm of crochet, a craft passed down through generations in my family. That journey inspired me to write and publish my first book, Hooked Heritage – A Crochet Earring Tutorial Guide (2025), a heartfelt tribute to my great-grandmother and the cultural legacy of crochet.
Alongside fiber art, I began experimenting with resin and polymer clay, creating unique jewelry and decorative pieces that blend texture, color, and storytelling. Each piece is a reflection of my passion for bringing art into everyday life.
I’m now expanding my creative vision once again — currently working on my first oil painting exhibit, which I plan to debut in Spring 2026.
Welcome to my world, where art meets imagination and every creation tells a story. Whether through crochet, clay, or canvas, I invite you to explore the beauty of handmade art and the endless possibilities of creativity.
